Healing from painful life experiences and reclaiming a sense of calm, clarity and control is possible.
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a gold-standard trauma therapy that helps the brain gently reprocess distressing memories so they lose their emotional charge.
Is this familiar?
-
You are easily triggered by everyday situations or conversations that leave you feeling anxious
-
You feel stuck and overwhelmed
-
You feel disconnected in your relationships that once brought you joy
-
You feel like you are running on overdrive that brings fear and panic
EMDR Therapy can help.
For clients who have tried EMDR or traditional talk therapy before - and still feel stuck. Ketamine-Assisted EMDR brings together two evidence-informed approaches into a single carefully structured treatment.
Ketamine is a legal, FDA-approved medication that can quiet the brain's fear response and allow difficult memories/material to reprocess. In collaboration with a medical provider KA-EMDR combines low-dose ketamine together with EMDR therapy all designed to keep you grounded and in control throughout the process.
You may already have a talk therapist providing weekly support that you love! EMDR can be seamlessly integrated as an adjunct to your existing therapy allowing for deeper exploration and targeting of material that might be keeping you stuck. Experiencing EMDR healing allows you to return to your primary therapist relieved of distressing symptoms and ready to more fully engage in ongoing talk therapy.
